What your client sees on the portal
Read-only status, files, and next visit in the browser.
When your client opens the portal link you sent, they see a read-only page in their mobile or desktop browser. No app install. No login.
What they can see
- Status and customer-safe stage or summary fields
- Timeline updates you posted
- Next visit date and time (or clear copy when not set)
- Files you published—quotes, contracts, damage reports, photos, and other supported uploads
The page matches your project’s industry program branding and labels.
What they cannot do
Clients cannot:
- Change status or project fields
- Upload files
- Post comments or chat inside Handysuite
- Create an account or “take over” the project
The portal URL acts as their access—keep it private and share only with that client.
If they have questions
Direct project questions (schedule, scope, payment) should go to you, their service professional. Handysuite support cannot modify a project on a client’s behalf without appropriate worker authorization through the product.
Privacy
Only worker-published content appears on the portal. Internal notes and private fields stay in the app. See your agreements with the client for how you handle their contact information.
