Smart Intake turns rough notes, exported chats, or photos into a structured new project draft you can edit before saving.

Start Smart Intake

From the project list, tap Smart Intake (or say “Start Smart Intake in Handysuite” to Siri). You can also arrive here after share import with chat text.

Apple Intelligence and fallbacks

On supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled, Smart Intake may structure fields more accurately. Otherwise you get basic parsing—you can edit every field before creating the project.

Always review client name, title, status, and contact fields before save.

Snap a photo

When you photograph a note or quote, Smart Intake reads the text with OCR. On supported devices with Apple Intelligence, it may suggest a different industry program if the scanned note clearly fits another template (for example, a dog-training sheet while Field trades is selected). The suggestion is optional—tap to switch before you create the project.

Edit then create

1. Review the generated draft on the create form.
2. Adjust industry program if needed (applies to this project).
3. Save to create the project and sync online.

Voice and guided flows

Optional voice prompts can read questions aloud during intake. Toggle under Settings → Preferences → Voice assistance.
